Ride FAQ (please read)

In order to avoid the lakefront congestion, we will meet at the skateboard park north of Roosevelt and east of Michigan Avenue in the southwest corner of Grant Park.

We'll head down Wabash and then State to IIT, through the GAP and Bronzeville to Oakwood and Drexel Boulevards. We will go through different areas of Kenwood and Hyde Park including  neighborhoods from the 1870s and the east side of Hyde Park. We'll see new construction just south of the University of Chicago in Woodlawn down to 63rd Street, First Presbyterian Church, Mount Carmel High School, the site of the 1895 Chicago Coliseum, the Burnham Nature Sanctuary, and the sites of the Obama library and proposed new golf course.

No lunch is planned. Pace is 12 to 14 mph easy going.
